This community consist of 16 families whom are actively involved in apong production as source of income.

Traditionally, they crafted Gula Apong in small huts near the river, a process that posed safety and hygiene risks

With the collaboration of ARG UNIMAS , the production of Apong syrup has been modernized with a focus on hygiene and quality. Today, the product is proudly certified with JAKIM HALAL and MESTI standards, ensuring both safety and authenticity
